"Spring Into Health" Fair And Free Barbeque Planned In Burwell
A variety of health and safety information will be available at the 2nd Annual "Spring Into Health" Fair, sponsored by Burwell Family Practice, Burwell Dental Clinic, Burwell Pharmacy, and Loup Basin Public Health Department. This FREE health fair and community barbeque will be held Monday, April 14, 2008 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Burwell High School Gym.
Many organizations will be present to perform health screenings and provide demonstrations. The health fair is open to the public there will be activities and fun for the whole family! Health screenings for adults will include blood pressure, blood sugar, and postural screenings. A collection site will be available for used cell phones, courtesy of the Loup Basin RC & D. There will be games and activities for kids, and door prize drawings for all ages.
